Welcome to the Santa Maria Parish website! I hope viewing this site will lead you to come and visit us to be warmly welcomed as an active member of our parish community.

Have you ever noticed that Jesus began his public ministry with two words? "Follow me."

There is no verse in Scripture that is shorter.
There is no verse in Scripture that had a greater impact on the lives of Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew.
There is no verse in Scripture that can have a greater impact on our own lives.

"Follow me."

That is what we are about as Catholics.
That is what we are about as a parish.

Everything we do here at Santa Maria in worship, prayer, service, and study is to follow Jesus, to draw closer to Him, and to share that experience with others.

Later in His ministry when people were curious and asked Jesus more about who He was, He said: "Come and see."

I invite you to "come and see."

Join us as we come to see and know Jesus through listening to His Word in the Scriptures, encountering Him and being strengthened by Him in the Sacraments, and applying His teachings and those of His church to our daily lives.
