Sister Pauline is a member of the QuiNhon Missionary of the Holy Cross Sisters. She was born and raised in Vietnam, and came to the United States with her family and joined religious life in 1997. After two years as a Postulant in the Orinda convent, she was a Novice for two years, and took her First Vows in 2001 at St. Agnes (Concord). Since then, she has ministered for the Vietnamese communities in San Leandro and San Jose, and is now back at Santa Maria working in Pastoral Care ministering to the sick and homebound.
During visits to the elderly or to the sick, Sister Pauline enjoys sharing the Word of God and bringing Holy Communion to them. She especially wants to connect with those who cannot attend Mass with their parish community.
