Born and raised in Sacramento, Megan was first inspired to work with young Catholics after her Confirmation in 8th grade at her home parish of St. Mary. This resolve stuck with her through college, and drew her to accept a position in Youth Ministry here at Santa Maria in 2011. It also motivated her M.A. in Systematic Theology at the Graduate Theological Union (Berkeley), which gave her a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Catholic faith and the way young people express it.
When she's not cantoring at Mass or talking story with the youth, you can probably find her studying hula, weeding the garden, or creating something at her workbench or sewing machine.
