Anointing of the Sick

"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." ~Jas. 5:14-15

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is offered to those undergoing serious illness, or people who have grown weak under the burden of years.

If anyone in your family is ill either at home or in a nursing facility, is hospitalized, or is scheduled to have surgery, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick can be arranged by contacting the Parish Office. This Sacrament is for the sick - not just for the dying - so please request the Sacrament when illness is discovered.
